    Well, I guess I'll start this comment by saying congratulations on the coming Baby!

    I'm here however to say I just finished going through your pan American road trip blog post! It was awesome, I'm planning a similar trip with 2 friends, so thanks for the information shared there.

    Why did you guys decide to finish the trip into Brazil by bus and shipped the car back home earlier?

    Thanks for the congratulations, and I'm glad you enjoyed the PanAm blog. If you have any questions about shipping or borders or such, ask away, and we'll do our best to answer.

    We decided not to import the car into Brazil because we knew we wanted to ship it home from BA (easier - we already had a shipping contact). We were also visiting family in Brazil, so didn't need the van for a place to stay.

    Best of luck with your trip! For us it was an adventure of a lifetime.
